My Catfish Pictures
My youngest son Danny and I, with the help of one of his friends named
Barron, caught this 62 pound catfish on a trotline at my old camp on the
La side of Toledo Bend in the summer of 2002.  We had run out of
small bream for baiit and baited the last hook with a Toledo bull bream
bigger than my hand.  I guess it's true that "the bigger the bait you use
the bigger the fish you catch".  By the way, that old wives tail about a
big cat not tasting good - just a wives tail - he was sooooo gooooood..
This is Danny Swanson, my youngest son, about the
time I caught the 60 pounder.  He's about a foot taller
and 100 lbs heavier now.  This is a 20 pounder and a
mess of bull bream caught on Toledo Bend.
